French

In conjunction with the Endon primary schools, Madame Delmas from Jollie Rounde runs our French class with singing, dancing and fun activities to introduce a second language to young children.

Jeanette Corbishley undertakes a lively movement class that appeals to all the children.

 

 

Toddler Group

Weekly visits to the local toddler group, based at Endon village hall.

 

Monday morning madness sessions

Located at the scout hall with an abundance of space, these sessions offer a variety of activities from PE, to music & movement to cooking time!

 

Makaton Sign Language

As an aid to communication, children throughout the Kindergarten are introduced to basic sign language through a variety of fun activities.

Library Bus

With a private stop in the car park, children choose their own books.

 

Outings

To link in with topic work, regular trips are organised off site. We have recently visited Cheddleton Railway Station, (and been on a train!), Tittesworth reservoir and the Little Gym at Festival Park.

 

Concerts

Our Pre School children perform Christmas and summer productions – all family members welcome. We are also invited to St Luke’s Nativity play and Endon Hall’s maypole dancing each year.

 

Sports day

A fun packed afternoon with parental participation!

 

Local walks

All children go on short walks, (pushchairs for babies and younger children) to the park,Fine Feathers, see the lambs in the fields or even to visit Daisy the cow!

Linking it with topic work and sometimes fundraising for charity. We have recently organised a fancy dress Toddle for Banardos as well as a pirate party to finance our sponsored child in Niger.

 

We organise a leaver’s party to Funsters in Burslem at the end of each academic year.
